Thank you for your interest in Siksika Board of Education. We welcome you to SBE - an educational experience unique for its Siksika history and culture.

Register for School
In order to register your child in school, parents are required to complete the Student Registration Form. The form is available at your child’s school, on the school website or it can be downloaded below.

Chief Crowfoot School

Chief Crowfoot School is an elementary school and Junior High as we offer Nursery to Grade 8 programs. Our school delivers Alberta Education curriculum to approximately 190-200 students annually.

Chief Old Sun School

Chief Old Sun School is an elementary school serving students in Nursery to grade 6. Our school delivers Alberta Education curriculum to approximately 358 students and 40 full-time staff annually.

Siksika Nation High School

The Siksika Nation High School (SNHS) is a Junior and Senior High School for grades 7 – 12, including the Natosi Learning Center for our gifted students. SNHS offers a variety of academic and option courses each term.

Siksika Outreach School

Siksika Outreach School is a Junior and Senior High School offering academic programming and a host of learning opportunities for grades 7 through 12 students including a young parent program.

Student Registration Form
All forms must be completed by the legal guardian / parents for students registering in a school (K-12) with the Siksika Board of Education.

Frequently asked questions

All classes are taught by certified teachers and educational assistants within their own classrooms. The exceptions are Gym, ICT, library and music, all of which are taught by specialist staff.
Does SBE have sports teams?

Siksika Board of Education is proud of its athletes who participate in various sports and recreation in and around Siksika. Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, and much more.

Does SBE offer bussing for my child?

SBE provides transportation for students attending of the four Schools in Siksika and for some students who attend schools in neighbouring communities. For more information on how to register your child, bus schedules and routes, service cancellations, delays, or other general inquiries call 403 734 4023.

How do I become a teacher with SBE?

Where do I sign into PowerSchool?

Visit the Student and Parent Resources page under the Student life tab to log into PowerSchool.

How do I decide which courses to take?

A guidance counsellor is available to all students who require assistance in getting registered in the right program and courses.

Where can I order my high school transcripts?

High school transcripts can be ordered at any time online using myPass and sent to a destination of your choice. There is a $10.00 non-refundable processing fee for each copy.
